Products & Materials
The weight depends on the size and thickness. You can easily calculate it with this formula:
- Thickness 1 cm: Base x Height x 3 (e.g., 0.40 x 0.35x 3 = 4.2 kg)
- Thickness 2 cm: Base x Height x 6 (e.g., 0.40 x 0.35 x 6 = 8.4 kg)
- Thickness 3 cm: Base x Height x 9 (e.g., 0.40 x 0.35 x 9 = 12.6 kg)
No, it will not damage the oven. However, we recommend inserting it only when needed and not leaving it inside permanently to avoid continuous stress to the structure over time.
It depends on the size of the plate:
- Up to 60×40 cm: rapid realization within 3/4 working days.
- Over 60×40 cm: processing takes 7 to 10 working days.
Consumption is low. We calculated the costs using a Very high precautionary tariff (0.50 €/kWh): with a 3 kW furnace, preheating costs about 1,50 €. During baking, the cost drops to about 0.75 €/hour. To prepare 8 pizzas will cost you about 2.25 €: much less than a single pizza in a pizzeria.
Maintenance & Use
The best method is the pyrolysis: let food residue burn at high temperature, then scrape it off with a scraper or abrasive sponge. Use only natural products; avoid chemical cleaners because they would penetrate the porosity of the stone.
In rare cases it may happen due to an invisible internal air bubble. The product is covered by warranty: contact us and we will provide replacement.
Shipping & PaymentsSpedizioni e Pagamenti
We use packaging designed to best protect the stone. The standard plates travel protected in a double reinforced carton, while those customized are shipped inside an impact-proof layer of Styrofoam and cardboard; also, depending on the size and weight of the product, we also use wooden pallets to ensure maximum stability and integrity during each stage of delivery.
We accept credit cards, PayPal and wire transfer. Installment payments are available to defer your purchase. We do not accept cash on delivery payments.
