The Sicilian pine cone
In Sicily a ceramic pine cone is given as a good-luck gift and kept at home, on a shelf or on the balcony. Ours come from Caltagirone and are 15-16 cm tall.
They are shaped and painted by hand, so each pine cone may show small colour differences from the photo.

Can it stay outdoors?
Yes, the glaze withstands sun and rain. In winter, if it freezes, it is better to bring it inside.
