The design

Sentieri, paths of colour on stone

The Sentieri pattern divides the charger with crossing bands of colour: a yellow triangle in one corner, a blue and a red band on the diagonal. With the Sentieri plate and tray you can lay the whole table in the same design.

The base is a 0.6 cm slab of Etna lava stone. The glaze is applied by hand and then fired in the kiln, so every charger has small differences in colour and pattern.

Under a dinner plate it frames the place setting and protects the tablecloth. On its own it becomes a platter for cheese, cured meats or sushi in the middle of the table.

Care and shipping

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes. To keep the glaze looking good for longer, we still recommend washing it by hand with water and a mild detergent.

Can I serve food on it?

Yes, the glaze is food safe. Don't leave oil, wine or vinegar for long on the unglazed stone.

Can I use it as a platter?

Yes, the surface is flat: it works for serving cheese, cured meats or sushi in the middle of the table.
